In the classroom, faculty mentors guide you as you learn about health care data science. You will acquire skills to maintain data integrity and security to ensure providers and patients have access to accurate information. You’ll become skilled in data analytics and technology and grow as a future health care professional. We offer our students a clinical rotation, providing you with opportunities to interact with HIM experts and other health care professionals. Upon completion of the program, you’ll be eligible to sit for the AHIMA Registration Examination to become credentialed as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), one of the top health IT certifications in the world.
