The Graduate School of Public & International Affairs (GSPIA) offers one of the world's only master's programs in Human Security - a field of study that encompasses all aspects of human rights in international affairs, international development, and public policy. Students learn to improve the human condition through detailed study of refugee policy, migration, women's rights, children's rights, food insecurity, genocide response and prevention, peacekeeping, civil wars, and conflict resolution, among other topics. Students can take advantage of the considerable expertise and research capacity of GSPIA's Ford Institute for Human Security, a leading research institute on human rights.
